Dear Mom,
I don't know who this joker is and why you keep sitting me on his lap year after year. I agree he is a nice gentleman, but really...what's all the hype about? I see no reindeer, no sleigh, no elves...we are just at the mall and this guy is wearing velvet. I mean a grown man in velvet mom...how do you ever expect me to take him seriously? Now if you can produce Thomas the Tank Engine or any of his friends...I will be impressed. Is this visit to the mall just an excuse for you to purchase new Uggs at Nordstrom's for your Canada trip? I swear woman...curb the spending. You heard what dad said about we are never allowed to any spend money...ever! Oh well, it's Christmas and I guess you deserve something too. Just get me some Thomas the Tank Engine toys and it will be our secret. And tell this Santa guy to consider a new fabric for his uniform...velvet just doesn't breath well. I should know you have tried to wrestle me into it before. I peed all over it to make sure it never came near me again. Actually...that was last year when you put me on the fat guy's lap...oh mom, really...will you ever learn?
Love, Walker

Just a little Thanksgiving Day art project...
Today was another rainy day in Nashville so we decided to make some Turkey Day art as a project for the Grandparents. We are jumping right into the world of Crayola with finger paints, markers and crayons. I had no plan, but I had a vision of a hand turkey. So here is what we created!
Here were the ingredients in our project! Should have bought WASHABLE markers because my hand is still outlined in blue marker. Whoops! I love construction paper also...is that crazy?!
Walker's first fridge art! You will notice the cut out scribbles...that is all W and his mad art skills. The little orange hand is a smudgy print of love. The green hand is mine and the head and beak were a fun lesson in shapes.
Picasso himself! Little Dubs got some orange paint on him...I almost left it on him all day because he looked so cute, but we got cleaned up because mommy is a neat freak in a way.
We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! We are so thankful for the wonderful life God has blessed us with and we very excited that next year we will have another little artist on our hands!
